Perry Gets Noticed
Perry’s talents as a filmmaker was first recognized when he was still in film school. In 2005, he submitted one of his short film entitled “A LITTLE INTIMIDATION” in the South Beach Ecubator Film festival and was selected as a finalist. In 2006, he directed a music video by the Christian artist “Doug Gordon” for the dong entitled “IT COULD HAVE BEEN ME”. This video was donated to the Miami Rescue Mission to use as a tool during their fund drive to raise money for the less fortunate.
Best Drama Feature Film
In 2009, his narrative feature film directorial debut entitled “THE FORGOTTEN FATHER” won the Best Drama Feature Film Award in one of the largest film festivals. Later that year, he directed a music video for a well know Haitian artist. That music video received rave reviews and came in third place as one of the top Caribbean music videos of that year.
